Information we collect and why
When you order, we use your email address, billing name and address, any business tax ID supplied at checkout, the order and payment status, and the recipe purchased to process payment, deliver the PDF, provide your paid invoice, answer order enquiries, and keep transaction records. We need this information to perform the purchase contract and, where applicable, to meet record-keeping obligations. Card details are entered with Stripe, not on this website.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the email address and your opt-in to send occasional recipe tips and updates. Newsletter signup is separate from a purchase. You may withdraw newsletter consent at any time by using an unsubscribe option in a message or by emailing us.
Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to serve and protect the website. If you contact us, we use your message and contact details to respond.
Who receives information
Stripe handles checkout and payment information; Resend handles the order email and newsletter contacts; and Replit provides the application hosting and database infrastructure. Each receives only information needed for its role. Where a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, applicable GDPR transfer safeguards must be confirmed and documented before publication.
Loading the site’s externally hosted fonts may also send your IP address and browser request information to Google. We do not add a purchaser to the newsletter solely because they bought a recipe.
How long we keep information
We keep order and invoice records for as long as applicable accounting, tax, and consumer-protection rules require, and support correspondence as long as needed to resolve an enquiry or dispute. Newsletter records are used to manage subscriptions and respect unsubscribe requests. The current application has no automatic expiry for those records; a retention and deletion schedule must be confirmed before this draft is adopted. Hosting and service logs follow the relevant providers’ settings and applicable requirements. Ask us at the address above for the applicable periods or criteria.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction or deletion of, or a copy of your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection or your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and external links
Cookies or similar technology that are strictly necessary to operate a requested service may be used without optional tracking consent. This draft does not claim the live website has no analytics or advertising tools: those tools have not yet been verified. If non-essential tracking is added, we will update this notice and obtain any required consent before enabling it. Following links to Instagram, Facebook, or Stripe takes you to their own services and privacy notices.
Changes
We will update this page when our data practices change and show the revised date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
